ကရင်ပြည်နယ် မြဝတီမြို့နယ် မင်းလက်ပံကျေးရွာအနီးရှိ စစ်ဘေးရှောင်များခိုလုံရာနေရာတွင် ဝမ်းပျတ်ဝမ်းလျှောရောဂါဖြစ်ပွါးလျက်ရှိကြောင်း OIAသို့ ဆက်သွယ်အကူညီတောင်းလာရာ OIAမှ ကျန်းမာရေးစောင့်ရှောက်မှု အလျင်အမြန်သွားရောက်ပြုလုပ်ပေးခဲ့သည်။
အဆိုပါစစ်ဘေးရှောင်နေရာတွင် ပုံသေစစ်ဘေးရှောင်ဦးရေ (၃၀၀)ကျော်ရှိပြီး၊ညပိုင်းမှလာရောက်ရှောင် တိမ်းသူ(စာရင်းမသိ)များလည်း ရှိကြောင်းသိရသည်။ယခု အခါ ဝမ်းပျတ်ဝမ်းလျှောရောဂါခံစားနေရသူ (၁၅)ဦးခန့်ရှိ ပြီး အိမ်သာမလုံလောက်မှု၊သုံးစွဲရသည့်ရေ မသန့်ရှင်းမှု၊အမိုးအကာမလုံလောက်မှု၊ဆေးဝါးနှင့် အစားအသောက် မလုံလောက်မှုများ ဖြစ်ပေါ်နေသည်။
“ကျမတို့ဆီကို ဘယ်အဖွဲ့အစည်းကမှ လာရောက်ကူညီထောက်ပံ့ထားတာမရှိပါဘူး၊ကျမတို့ကိုယ်ထူကိုယ် ထ စုပေါင်းပြီး လုပ်ဆောင်နေရတာပါ”ဟု စေတနာ့ဝန်ထမ်း ကျန်းမာရေးသူနာပြုဆရာမက OIAကို ပြောပြပြီး ၎င်းတို့ ၏လိုအပ်ချက်များကို တတ်နိုင်သမျှကူညီဖြည့်ဆည်းပေး ရန် စစ်ဘေးရှောင်ပြည်သူများကိုယ်စား အကူအညီတောင်း ခံသည်။
OIAမှ လက်တလောအရေးပေါ် ကျန်းမာရေးစောင့်ရှောက်မှုအချို့နှင့်အတူပါသွားသည့်ဧည်သည်တဦးမှ အ ရေးပေါ်သုံးအလှူငွေ (၅၀၀၀)ဘတ် ပေးအပ်ခဲ့ပြီး ကူညီစောင့်ရှောက်နိုင်မည့် နည်းလမ်းများကိုလည်း ဆက်လက်ရှာဖွေ ၍ ကူညီပံ့ပိုးသွားမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။
အဝေးရောက်ဧရာဝတီအသင်း (OIA)
Overseas Irrawaddy Association (hereinafter referred as “OIA”) was asked for help to provide medical assistance to displaced people who are staying near Min Lat Pan Village, Myawaddy Township, Karen State since Diarrhea Diseases are seriously occurring at this area. Normally, there were over 300 displaced people at this area and many are still displacing at night. There are 15 displaced people who suffered Diarrhea Diseases and insufficient toilets, water pollution, insufficient shelters, and insufficient medicine and food are occurring at the moment. A nurse who volunteered at this area told OIA that there were no organization to assist and they are trying to figure it out themselves. Besides, she continuously told their needs and asked for assistance instead of displaced people. A guest who followed along with OIA’s Medical Team donated 5,000 THB for emergency and he agreed to find ways to provide more assistance at this area.
